About Us
What makes microgreens such a superfood?
Microgreens are high in nutrients, taste great and are visually appealing in salads, sandwiches and as a garnish . Or snack on them right out of the bag. Microgreens are young versions of vegetables. Microgreens taste like vegetables with a more intense flavor. They take days to grow and harvest versus weeks for the comparable vegetables. However, they have been shown to have five to forty times more nutrient content per gram than the mature vegetable.
Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Kyle Smith, Microgreen Cultivator and Owner of Micro King Green Farm. I was fortunate enough to be able to grow up in Park City, Utah. My family has owned our small farm for over 30 years. We have raised goats, sheep, chickens and other assorted livestock in the past. I'm into plant based agriculture, which is a challenge in this climate and altitude. Through trial and error, I have developed my own system for raising microgreens indoors from seeds. Try some today!
